About the Doctors
Drs. Jan Wrobleski, Mike Myers, and Will MacDonald are pediatric dentists in Mt. Pleasant, SC, who specialize in providing preventative dental care and behavioral management solutions to parents, so they can help their child maintain a beautiful, healthy smile. Dr. Ron Bell is an orthodontist who is board certified in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
Dr. Jan Wrobleski
Dr. Jan received both his undergraduate and dental degree from West Virginia University. He completed his pediatric dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and remained on the faculty as an associate clinical professor for 26 years. He has practiced pediatric dentistry since 1979.
Dr. Jan lectures to any public group that has an interest in oral healthcare for children. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Masters Dental Study Club and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Away from the office, Dr. Jan has worked with Windward Farms, a center for the treatment of physically, mentally and sexually abused children, and has participated in Hootie’s Home Grown Roundup, Back 2 School Basics and the ADA’s Give Kids a Smile program. Dr. Jan contributes to most fundraisers that will benefit children and provides materials and funding for several mission projects for area churches.
Dr. Will MacDonald
Dr. Will MacDonald is board certified in pediatric dentistry. Away from the office he lectures to Parent Teacher Associations, mothers’ morning groups and local dental associations.
He attended Wofford College to complete his undergraduate degree and received his dental degree and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Medical University of South Carolina. He has been in private practice since 2003.
Dr. Will is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the South Carolina Dental Association.
Away from the office he participates in Walk for Autism and the Give Kids A Smile program.
Dr. Mike Myers
Dr. Mike Myers is a board certified pediatric dentist.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina in 1997 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002.
Dr. Mike completed a general dentistry residency at the University of Florida and a pediatric dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006. He has been in private practice since 2003.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Christian Medical and Dental Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Away from the office, Dr. Myers does volunteer service with the ADA’s Give Kids a Smile program. He was also a volunteer faculty member at the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine. He has also served on Dental mission trips to Haiti, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
He has been married to his wife, Meredith, for ten years and they have three children, Margaret, Robert and William.
Dr. Ron Bell
Dr. Ron Bell is board certified in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He maintains professional membership with several local, state and national pediatric dentistry and orthodontic organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Ron has served as Chair and Program Director of both the Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Postgraduate Programs at MUSC.
Dr. Ron attended Tulane and Louisiana State University for his undergraduate degree and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1973. He completed training in pediatric dentistry at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Ron then earned his orthodontic certificate at Medical College of Georgia.
Away from the office he does volunteer service with the Special Olympics and the Smiling Children Foundation.
