Kids Teeth always puts the health and care of our patients and their families as our top priority. In light of the growing concern over the Coronavirus, we are taking every precaution feasible so we can continue to practice in an environment that is as safe as possible. We already follow strict OSHA/CDC guidelines for Infection Control:
- Treatment area is cleaned before and after every patient with medical grade cleaner
- All doctors and hygienists wear gloves and mask
- We sterilize all instruments
- Purell at every station
- Hand washing opportunities available throughout the entire office (sinks, soap, and water)
Click here to watch a video of our sterilization routine between each patient.
In additional to these standard procedures we are implementing additional cleaning and sanitizing measures throughout the entire office (counters, waiting room, playroom, bathrooms, door handles, etc.). We’ve also instructed any staff members to stay home if they are feeling ill and continue to practice good hygiene.
To continue to serve the community through this time, we do ask that if you or your child is sick or running a fever, stay home and we’ll gladly reschedule your appointment for another time. You can also help by washing your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap upon your arrival at our office.
At this time there are no plans to close or change our operating hours. This is a rapidly evolving situation and we will follow any necessary guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization, and DHEC.
Lastly, let’s remain positive and we will get through this together as a community. Thank you for your continued support!
